Deep chocolate brown, patterned entirely in its own colour — floral and paisley work sits raised against the ground and shows itself only when the light moves across it. The pallu carries the densest of it, with a medallion band near the edge. No contrast, no second colour: the whole effect is tonal, which makes it the quietest piece in the collection and the easiest to wear more than once a season.
